Niagara Emergency Medical Services covers almost 1,900 square kilometers in 12 municipalities in Southern Ontario with a population of over 415,000. Niagara EMS is also responsible for providing service to over 12 million tourists who visit the Niagara Region each year. With a call volume approaching 62,000 per year, Niagara EMS utilizes several of CAD North’s applications, including AlertLine, HeadStart911, Simulator, SSM ToolBox and several other custom developed interfaces.

Toronto Emergency Medical Services is one of the world’s largest emergency care systems. Toronto EMS services an area of 650 square kilometers with a population of 3.5 million. Toronto EMS answers over 425,000 phone calls each year, resulting in over 165,000 patient transfers. Toronto was one of CAD North’s first clients, and they are currently using AlertLine and Simulator.

Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office is responsible for an area of over 2,744 square miles (7,106sq/kms) including 118 miles (190kms) of coastline. With a service area population of 189,000, Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office responds to 911 calls with a staff of 300 Sworn Deputy Sheriffs, over 175 Sworn Correction Officers and almost 200 Civillian Employees. Santa Barbara is using CAD North’s AlertLine.

Oklahoma City Fire/EMS Department and Police Department services a population of over 500,000 in an area of 621 square miles (1,608sq/kms). Oklahoma uses CAD North’s AlertLine to enhance their ability to respond to a wide range of calls, from fires, rescues, hazardous materials, medical emergencies, public safety and traffic incidents.

Gold Cross Ambulance has been providing Emergency Medical Services to the citizens of Utah since 1968. Gold Cross makes use of CAD North’s SSM Toolbox for analysis and planning.

City of Plano Public Safety handles 911 service for Plano Texas and neighboring areas encompassing 250 square miles (647sq/kms) and a population of 358,000. With over 167,000 emergency 911 calls being answered each year, Plano uses CAD North’s Simulator for training their dispatchers and call receivers.

Mecklenburg EMS (Medic 911) services the Charlotte NC area, receiving over 76,000 calls each year in a population of over 720,000. Medic 911 uses CAD North’s Simulator to train their dispatchers and call receivers.
